HIRO KOGANEI COLLECTION
Hiro KOGANEI has long been engaged in diamond polishing.
He wanted to give the world a jewelry brand with the highest standards of cutting technique and craftsmanship.
Hiro KOGANEI believes that individual taste and style should be reflected in a diamond’s unique character.
He mastered his craft and established the classic “Hiro KOGANEI collection”,
creating a world of new diamonds with a beauty and brilliancy that no one has ever seen.
His unique and varied collection of diamonds is the first of its kind.
Diamonds are made to order, with precision and quality. They are made just for you.

He entered Oriental Diamond Industry (current Oriental Diamond Corporation) the pioneer company of diamond cutting in Japan, a joint venture between De beers Corporation and Sumitomo Corporation.
He studied under Haruya YANO, an authority on diamond geometry who developed a framework for his current work, a work that considers numerical aspects in the design process.
With a bold polish like many overseas products, he creates a well-balanced polish that is signature Japanese and driven by a numerical value approach.
Diamonds of Japan are polished using the world’s best techniques. Hiro KOGANEI helped introduce Japan to a cut of diamond called “Apolloneight”, which, theoretically, is said to be the best round cut, or the “H&C (Heart & Cupid)” that now became one of a criteria of diamond investigation.
In 1997, he started TASUKO Co.,Ltd. which specialized in diamond design and polishing.
By responding to numerous requests for “diamonds with beautiful form and unprecedented brilliancy”,
he received high esteem from the Imperial household and major jewelers.
In 2009 he started the shop brand, Designer Diamonds COCORO and released new designs to the market.
When he released his original collection, ”Hiro KOGANE Collection”, he received high praise in Japan and beyond for uniqueness, beautiful form, and brilliancy.
He received the MFU Meister prize in 2013.
